THIS IS MY LIFE...

My life consists of family and friends. Both sets constitute many events and, therefore, many wonderful memories. My words to live by (paraphrased from Willie Nelson): I live each day as if it were my last. One day it will be.

FAMILY
I am very proud of my heritage. My parents were wonderful, loving people. They instilled an appreciation for friendships, traditions, and simple life in my brother and me. I am proud to be their daughter.

FRIENDS

I have been blessed with wonderful friendships. Every once in a while, a trip will pop up when least expected. Hawaii, Chicago, and New York City are examples. Some trips are planned, such as Anna Marie’s and my drive through several New England states and a Christmas trip to the Basque Country. But they are always filled with laughter, good food, and some adventure. It's always fun reminiscing!

PURSUITS
There are several projects I have been involved in that have given me a great deal of satisfaction. Fixing up a condo in Santa Maria with a LOT of help from family and friends is just one of those projects. Raising money for breast cancer research is another. Whatever the project is, I always have a sense of satisfaction when it is completed, and I always feel a sense of pride. Is there anything better?

Living out a dream of a lifetime, I packed myself up and moved to Manhattan in New York City, for seven months, as any adventurous 22-year-old would do. I kept a blog while there...
