Although we went to San Francisco to volunteer for the two-day even in 2004, a year later we raised money to be able to walk (@ $1,800).  We had 5 of our local Basques shows their signature dishes on a video (see below) and then had them prepare the same item for a dinner held at the Bidart Home.  It was a wonderful event and very profitable.  That same year we held a mus tournament at the Chino Basque Club; half of the proceeds added to the funds collected.  We walked the 39 miles (2 days) and felt very proud to be a part of that experience.
